Last Saturday, the Poznań International Fair hall was transformed into a rally center. The winners of the Dakar Classic 2026 Kamena Rally Team met with fans during Dakar Day 2026. As a brand Autos we couldn't miss such a key event.
The heart of the event was the direct presence of Tomasz Białkowski , Dariusz Baśkiewicz, and Łukasz Gogulski – the Kamena Rally Team. The 2026 Dakar Classic winners eagerly shared behind-the-scenes of the Dakar competition with fans, discussing the navigational challenges, technical equipment preparation, and the strategy that led them to the summit. For the team, the Poznań meeting represented another step in their ongoing Dakar Rally project in Poland, bringing their passion for motorsport to a wider audience.
The main attraction of the event was the nearly 10-ton DAF "The Bull ," the truck that led the Kamen Rally Team to victory in the Dakar Classic category . Alongside it was a Polaris RZR Pro R, the rally car the same team uses in the World Cup , and numerous other vehicles.
As one of the main partners of the Kamen Rally Team, we couldn't miss such an important event as Dakar Day. We were there with Silverlines, a brand offering professional oils and lubricants dedicated to trucks , to celebrate the passion for motorsport with Tomek, Darek, Łukasz, and racing enthusiasts. Our unique Scania Torpedo , a regular fixture at the events we participate in, generated a lot of interest. We were able to relive the excitement of the Dakar Classic route.
The turnout for this year's Dakar Day far exceeded the organizers' expectations. The Poznań arena was packed from the early morning hours. Thousands of enthusiasts—from experienced mechanics, professional drivers, fleet representatives, and even entire families with children—came to experience the desert atmosphere of the Dakar Rally firsthand.
The unique nature of the event was enhanced by the fact that it was accompanied by the 9th National Red Car Rally . The combination of powerful rally machines with historic and modern firefighting vehicles created a unique spectacle, attracting a wide range of automotive fans.
